Treata Scholars exists to support reliable pathways for scientific knowledge by combining responsible publishing practice with practical digital infrastructure. The platform is designed to serve researchers, editors, reviewers, journals, and scholarly communities without treating technology as a substitute for human scientific responsibility.
Editorial independence
Scientific editorial decisions should be protected from inappropriate commercial, institutional, personal, or reputational influence. Publisher governance establishes standards and accountability while preserving the editor’s responsibility for individual scholarly decisions.
Research integrity
Treata places the reliability of the scholarly record ahead of convenience. Concerns should be assessed proportionately and fairly, and published records should be corrected transparently when credible evidence shows that amendment is required.
Transparency
Journal identity, policies, peer-review model, fees, access arrangements, licenses, editorial leadership, and other material publishing information should be communicated accurately. Treata does not treat unverified indexing, memberships, affiliations, or endorsements as marketing claims.
Human accountability
Automated and AI-assisted tools may support publishing workflows, but authors, reviewers, editors, and publisher personnel remain accountable for consequential scholarly actions and decisions.
